Our programming this year is rooted in the heart of the historical day in 1865. It was the message to the last of Enslaved Africans that chattel slavery had ended and they were free to choose to exist on their own terms. The essence of freedom is choice. This year, our programming reflects this ideal. We are creating a space for people to come and engage in a variety of experiences as they choose. The following experiences will be available: Drumming, storytelling, group exercise, DJ performances, singers, musicians, food, games, foraging walks, and nformation tables, will be among the offerings this year.
